Philip is Senior Research Associate in the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCCC) at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), specializing in the flow cytometric analysis of blood and bone marrow diseases. He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Louisville (1986) and received additional training in Physiology (1992-1994, 1997-1999) at CWRU. Currently, he is the Full Service Manager of the Cytometry and Microscopy Shared Resource in the CCCC. In 2018, with James W. Jacobberger, he co-founded Cleveland Cytometry Services Company and serves on its Advisory Board and as the corporate Secretary. He is a native Clevelander.
